Ayane Shoda, born1996, started learning piano at the age of three.
From 2002~2007, participated in PTNA Piano Competition, won gold prize in both A1 and B category, bronze in C category, best award in D category. In 11th Young Artist Piano Competition A Group, won a gold prize.
From 2008 to 2009 she won either first prize or gold prize in 41st Kawai Music Competition, 9th Osaka International Music Competition E Category, 2nd Beten Music Competition 5th and 6th grade Category and 10th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia(5th and 6th Grade Category). She won a prize in All Japan Student Competition Tokyo Round, and first prize in 1st International Young Pianist Competition.
2010, at Frankfurt Germany, won fourth prize in 2nd International Rachmaninov Piano Competition (under 14 years old category).
2011, in Osaka International Music Competition General Category (category with no age limits) wins third prize.
2012, at San Jose USA, Wins first prize at 13th International Russian Music Piano Competition (Intermediate Category).
2013, Wins the medal of semi-finalist of Epinal International Piano Competition, France.
2010,2011,2012 Participates in the master course of Artistic Director Prof. Dina Yoffe’s ‘Recontres Estivales au Moulin’ in France. Also in 2012, participates in the Internationale Sommerakademie Mozarteum under Klavier class of Prof. Dina Yoffe.
2014, at Malaga Spain, Participates in “Musical Summer” Malaga International Festival and Masterclasses, under class of Prof. Dina Yoffe, the artistic director.
2004, 2009, 2010, awarded from Ome City the Encouragement Prize of Art and Culture. 2011, awarded from the Tokyo Metropolis of the achievement of the piano works.
She now takes lessons from Mr. Takashi Sasaki, Hiroshi Arimori.
