Irene Rubio was born in Torrevieja, Spain. She received her Bachelor degree with honours in 2010 from the Conservatory of Music of Castellon (Spain) in the class of Prof. Leonel Morales.
In 2011 Irene moved to Germany to pursue her postgraduate studies with the renown pianist Prof.Dina Yoffe in the International Musikakademie "Anton Rubinstein" in Düsseldorf.
Currently, she lives in Switzerland where is teaching and studying the Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the University of Arts of Zürich.
Irene has performed in Spain, France, Germany and Switzerland.
She has also played and participated in festivals such as Festival of Granada , Pau Casals Prades Festival, Moulin d'Ande Festival in France, International Music Forum of Orihuela, among others.
She has been a finalist in several national and international competitions and the 1st prize winner in the 2010 National Piano Competition "Ciudad de Xativa " as well the 1st prize winner of "Ibercaja Scholarship "(Spain).
In 2012 she was awarded a scholarship to continue her studies in Germany with Prof. Dina Yoffe.
She has taken part in masterclasses given by prestigious professors such as Dina Yoffe, Joaquín Soriano, Olivier Gardon, Akiko Ebi, AbbeySimon, Leonel Morales, Mamiko Suda, Emmanuel Ferrer, Fernando Puchol, Ludmil Angelov, Vincenzo Balzani, Peter Bithell, Ralf Gothoni, Jean Claude Vanden - Eynden, Robert Palmer and Georg Friedrich Schenk among others.
Her activity also includes and focuses on playing chamber music. She has played with various formations throughout her career winning chamber music competitions in Spain. Today she plays in a piano trio, piano for 4 hands and solo repertoire.
Irene Rubio is piano teacher at the Musikschule Uri and Musikchule der Stadt Zug (Switzerland).
Daniel Vaiman was born to a family of professional musicians in Riga, Latvia. He started his piano studies with his mother at an early age of 4 and has shown a keen interest which led to him continuing his studies at the Gnessin special music school for gifted children in Moscow.
In 1989 his family emigrated to Israel where he continued his piano studies.
From this moment onwards, his life took him to many different countries both professionally and personally. Throughout his academical education, Daniel has been performing in different corners of our world either as a Soloist, chamber musician or with an Orchestra.
To pursue his career Daniel moved In 1996 to London where he regularly performed and at the same time he continued and completed his studies at the Purcell School of Music as well as the Royal Academy of Music. He then decided to move to Germany where he has received a Honour Degree in Master of Performance at the Karlsruhe Hochschule für Musik under the tuition of Prof. Kalle Randalu.
Since 2003, Daniel has been living in Switzerland. He originally came here to pursue his studies at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in the Meisterklasse of Prof. Homero Francesch. He graduated with the Solistendiplom with Honours. This encounter has been an extremely important point in his personal life as well as in his professional life as a concert pianist which led him to stay in this unique country and base himself here.
His concerts include performances at the Barbican, St. Martin's in the Fields, Queen Elisabeth hall, Lazienki Park, Minato Mirai Yokohama and festivals such as Chopin and his Europe, Elba, Musical summer at the Moulin. Also, Daniel has several CD recordings as well as numerous live Radio and TV broadcasts. Since 2009 Daniel is teaching a Piano class at the Musikschule Zug.
On a more personal note, in his free time, Daniel enjoys Snowboarding, Cycling, working with glass mosaics and he is a pasionate car enthusiast
For his performances Daniel constantly tries to come up with interesting and perhaps not “ordinary” programs and he enjoys the personal connection to his public. He believes that Music is something to be shared with sincerity with everyone who wants to appreciate the essence of it whether it is through performing or teaching. To be a musician is not a job, it's a life.
