Born in Poland, 20- year old Karolina Tomaszewska began studying piano at the age of 7. She commenced her musical education at Tadeusz Szeligowski Music School in Lublin. Currently a student at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of Professor Edward Wolanin. She studied in Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy in Düsseldorf with Dina Yoffe. Laureate of many polish and international competitions. Awarded, among others,

Karolina was admitted to the eliminatory round of the XVI International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. She participated in international masterclasses with Kevin Kenner, Karl Heinz Kämmerling, Philippe Entremont, Michel Beroff and André Boainain. Has performed in Poland, France, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Spain, Italy, USA. She participated in festivals such as: Chopin Open, La Folle Journée Festival, Mazurkas of the World Festival, „Euregional Chamber Music Festival- Maastricht 2014”. She was awarded scholarships by the Polish Children's Fund in Warsaw and the Mayor of Lublin city.
