Mami Nishio was born in Osaka in 1987 and started playing the piano at the age of three.
She studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music with Nobuko Amada.Also she received instruction of the chamber music from Tsugio Tokunaga. And she studied under Midori Miura,Hitoshi Kobayashi,Sachi Akutsu,Yukio Yokoyama.
She has also taken the master classes with Mikhail Voskresensky,Sergey Dorensky,Pavel Nerses'yan,Michel Beroff,Dina Yoffe,among others.
Currently she is studying at Moscow Conservatory with Honored Artist professor Andrey Pisarev,chamber music with Dmitry Kapurin.
In 2008 She was a diploma recipient at the 4th International Scriabin competition in Moscow,
First prize at the Musical Summer International for the best performance of music by French composer in France 2013,
Second prize at the International Music Competition 2013 in Osaka,
She also received prizes at numerous piano competitions and was awarded scholarship in Japan.
Mami performed as a soloist with orchestras in Tokyo, Ibaraki.
She gives numerous concerts as a soloist, chamber music and an accompanist in Russia, Lithuania and many cities in Japan.
